Yes, the day is approaching: it is 9th May, 9am. Please click on the link below to find out what happens on that long-awaited day.

Dear All,

You are invited to join us on Saturday 9th May 2009 on our annual trip to Wales.

What we do:

  • 9am hop on a coach
  • 10am visit the splendid Tintern Abbey
  • 12.30pm arrive in James Gibbs’ spectacular garden, have a lovely picnic and play games or take a short nap
  • 2pm go for a walk along the river and enjoy the scenery
  • 5pm hop back on the coach
  • 7pm arrive at MIH
  • 7.30pm have a dinner all together
    • All this is free for MIH Residents. Friends are welcome, but will need to pay a nominal £15 towards the costs.
This is a wonderful opportunity to see a beautiful part of the country.
Please let a member of the Warden Team know whether you will be able to join the outing!

MIH snowed under

The MIH garden, which usually provides a space for exam period crammings, summer barbecues autumn parties, this winter was covered in perfect, white snow. The more than 5 inch white blanket was soon turned into snowmen and women, of which here are two photos. Please follow the link below to have a look at them.

MIH has a new Assistant Warden

Steven was offered and accepted the position, and we look forward to welcoming him on board MIH on 6th January 2009.
We had a large interest in the post and interviewed four very strong candidates - many thanks to them for their interest in MIH!
